I’m Lionel Fornetti, a bilingual singer-songwriter, and music is the most honest way I’ve found to connect with people. Through my songs, I try to create an emotional space where listeners can feel something real—something that stays with them.

I’m deeply involved in every step of my work as an author, composer, performer, and producer, because for me, authenticity matters above all. My musical world has been shaped by artists like George Michael, Jeff Buckley, My Vitriol, and the ethereal soundscapes of Cocteau Twins. Those influences live within my music.

My debut solo album, 200,000 Years After, is a very personal project—entirely recorded, composed, arranged, and produced by myself. It’s a concept album where I blend dark, shimmering alternative pop rock with reflections on love and human connection. From the soft, ethereal glow of “Candlelight in the Darkness” to the haunting atmosphere of “Vampires Only Sleep,” each song tells a story inspired by love, dreams, and the fragile beauty of our inner worlds.

I’ve always tried to stay true to who I am. My voice, my music—they come from a place where light meets depth, where vulnerability becomes strength.

Outside of music, I try to live in a way that reflects what I believe in. I’ve been vegetarian for over 25 years, I support animal rights, and I practice meditation and yoga every day. It helps me stay grounded, present, and connected—to myself and to others.
