It never ends
Passion never dies. It grows
Lionel Fornetti is a bilingual singer-songwriter whose original sound will touch your heart and make you eager to discover more. A multitalented musician, he is also an author, composer, performer, and producer. The youngest of six children in an Italian family, Lionel grew up in Lyon, France, and developed a love for performing early on as a professional dancer and model, before discovering his passion for music.
His musical influences range from George Michael and Jeff Buckley to My Vitriol. Lionel’s debut solo album, 200,000 Years After, is a true reflection of his artistic vision, as it was entirely recorded, composed, arranged, and produced by him. Recently released, this concept album blends dark, scintillating alternative pop rock with thought-provoking love lyrics. From the disco vibes of “Come And Dance With Me” to the haunting atmosphere of “Vampires Only Sleep,” his songs weave together love, fantasy, and dreams—each track telling its own story.
An authentic voice – where light meets depth, Lionel’s music stands out for its emotional sincerity and artistic richness. His first single, “Question Of Love,” was inspired by an unreleased demo by George Michael and was released as a tribute on George’s birthday, with all proceeds benefiting a children’s charity.
In 2026, Lionel Fornetti will continue to captivate his audience with a series of exciting new releases, including several singles, a highly anticipated new album, and visually stunning music videos. These upcoming projects promise to push the boundaries of his signature style while maintaining the emotional depth and raw energy that have earned him a dedicated fanbase.
Beyond his music, Lionel is deeply committed to well-being, having been a vegetarian for over 25 years, supporting animal rights, and practicing meditation and yoga daily.
