Lionel Fornetti is a bilingual singer-songwriter, whose original sounds will touch your heart and make you want to discover more. Not only is he a multitalented musician, but also an author, composer, performer and producer. He is a twin and the youngest of 6 children in a family of Italian descent, living in Lyon, France. Lionel developed an early love of performing live as a professional dancer and model, before discovering his passion for music. Earlier musical influences include: George Michael, Jeff Buckley and My Vitriol. “200,000 Years After” is the title of his first solo album. Entirely recorded, composed, arranged and produced by Lionel. Fresh out of the recording studios, this work of art has recently been released. Known for his beautiful harmonies, Lionel performs a mix of his own brand of dark scintillating alternative pop rock and thought provoking love lyrics. This concept album weaves from the disco vibes of «Come And Dance With Me» to the more haunting atmospheres of «Vampires Only Sleep», his songs entwine love with fantasy and dreams. Every song tells a story. His first single « Question Of Love », was inspired by a previously unheard demo by George Michael, it was released on George’s birthday as a tribute to him, with all proceeds to be donated to a children’s charity. Passionate about well-being, Lionel has been a vegetarian for 25 years, he strongly supports animal rights and practices meditation and yoga daily.
